My 1998 chevy blazer shifts into 4HI or LO Easily but since the day i got it has a problem coming out of 4wd. I have replaced the vaccums lines and the accuator. It trys to shifts out of the 4wd, you can hear it inside the car and underneath clicking. If anyone knows what is happing please let me know. Thank you~Nick

 

Check the operation of the front cable that engages your 4x4.

 

Even when it says its in 2hi the accuator is still compressed. How do i check to see if it operating correctly?

 

It should not have vacuum when in 2HI. If it does, then you either have a bad vacuum switch or the vacuum lines are routed improperly. Do you have the 3-button or 4-button switch in the dash?

 

i do not have the auto 4x4 just the 3 bottons . i replaced the vaccumm switch already but i did not check if the lines were right. I left it the same way as i got it.
