Angry 4WD Problems

Greetings from the Bluegrass State;

The Blazer in question is a 1995 Lt electronic/push button 4WD. I went to do some fishing last weekend and had the Blazer in 4WD High as soon as I went from pavement to dirt. The entire trip off road to the lake was a piece of cake, went through mud/dirt/ect. When it was time to leave I put the Blazer in reverse, and backed up onto a small incline and when I put the car in drive I was immediately stuck. My buddy got out and looked while I tried to drive forward but he said that my back tires were moving but my front tires were not. That my friends is a problem.

Now for more technical info:
I do not have all terrain triers, but don't need them for this area.
The Blazer was stuck in 4WD High, so I tried 4WD Low, same problem.
When I engage the 4WD into any gear, the Blazer moves forward on its own power much easier. No foot on gas.
The 4WD lights come on when engaged.
I can hear the mechanism engage.

FWI- Just had the transmission rebuilt.

If anyone could give me some advice I would be grateful.
