Default 4x4 auto button swap?

Did some research and this is the best thread I could find.
https://blazerforum.com/forum/genera...-switch-70928/
But it doesn't answer my question.

I have a 1998 blazer 4x4 without the "auto" button on my 4x4 switch.
Can I swap it with one that has the "auto" option?
Here are some pictures for reference.
The plugs look the same and the e-bay listings say 98-05 it will fit.
But will I have the "auto" functions simply by swapping these buttons?
Thanks!

Coolasice is right. It may fit and work for 2wd 4wd 4lo, but definitely no Auto 4wd.

its more than the switch that makes it an Auto 4x4...

That is what I figured..
Thanks for all the responses y'all!
If I have to go through the trouble of swapping anything I would want to do the Bravada AWD swap!
