4x4 Electrical problem
Sorry, I wasn't sure where to post this so I just chose to put it here. Mods feel free to move it if you wish.
Anyways, I have a 1995 Blazer with pushbutton 4x4, and have been having a few problems with it. I got the wiring checked out because it randomly quit working, and there was a loose connection. Now, when I engage 4 low I feel it transfer over and have the low gear ratio. Now, the 4 hi refuses to work at all. Not in any of the gears, going any speed, nothing. Dead. I replaced the switch and that still didn't do anything. I can go from 2 hi to 4 low anytime and back to 2 hi, but the 4 hi is dead. I think it may be in the wiring again, because the only time it will flash is trying to go from 4 low to 4 hi, but then it just reverts back to 2 hi. Any suggestions? I can't afford to take it to a mechanic right now, and I believe if I knew what it was I'd have no problem fixing it myself. Thanks alot for any help.
