Default 4x4 lost

i have been reading all the threads on similar problems and it all seems like a different language to me. i have no idea what codes are what and what they all mean. let me tell you the exact problem.... i used to be able to shift into 4hi while in drive, which i loved. now when i try to shift, in ANY gear other than neutral, i get no response at all. in neutral, i get the 4hi and 4lo lights both blinking simultaneously, and then after a few times it reverts back to 2wd. sometimes it will shift into 4lo, but its like a game of chance trying to get it back into 2wd. i spend almost every weekend of my life on the beach, surf fishing, and without 4wd, i cant go [sm=boohoo.gif]can someone please help me... i read about the vacuun, the t-case, all the fittings, testing the ports (which i have no idea where they are located..) anyone fix this problem, easily?

If you post the printout of the codes ( present and history), there is a good possibility that we can help.
There are no promises, but the more information that we have, the easier it is to make an accurate diagnosis.
