Did you check pending codes in the BCM? Checking pending codes in the PCM will only show engine & transmission codes. Transfer case codes are stored in the BCM.

The scanner will list each module that it can access on the main menu screen: PCM, BCM, ABS, SIR, etc. Each module stores current, pending, & history codes, (3 seperate files in each module).

There are two threads here:
wdhova: Captain will need to respond to what those codes are all about.

bagherra: my suggestion to you is to remove the 4wd switch assembly from the dash, carefully disassembl the two halves and then re-flow all the solder joints using a soldering iron...not a GUN. Also clean the connector contacts at the TCCM module.

Lanny 81, cleaned the TCCM module connections today, no change. Will do switch tomorrow. Dumb question, difference between soldering iron and gun??

Was doing some checks when I got off work. Getting good vacuum at actuator under battery tray. Pulled the cable about 1/2". 4HI light still blinking. Can get into 4LO and I hear a noticeable thunk from transfer case and click from TCCM. Goes in 4LO but 4LO light blinks. When I put in 4HI, can hear TCCM click and click from transfer case, 4HI light blinks....4AUTO light just blinks too when in 4AUTO.

Also, HVAC works great, don't think vacuum is an issue. Any checks to do with the solenoid on the firewall?

Don't mean to threadjack, but I like it when stuff works likes its suppose to.

Thanks for u guys help!!! Anybody in or near Va Beach can lend a hand! Beer is on me!! LOL

In your case, my money is on a malfunctioning TCCM.

Default Cleaning TCCM

Hey y'all, I did the cleaning today and everything seems to be working properly. Sprayed with connection cleaner and packed the fittings with the electric grease. There was obvious corrosion on some of the prongs. Now I got hope that helps with the wired codes I was getting.

Thanks again everyone, I love this forum, saves me so much money!
