As the title says I have a 95 4.3 vortec engine blazer. I was trying to pull my map sensor out to replace it, and the piece that plugs in broke off and fell down through the hole. I was wondering if this would cause any problems or hurt anything.

Er make that a 96 blazer

Yes, it could. Hopefully you have not started the engine yet...

Hm... Great. I'm no mechanic but my dad is, what would be involved in getting that piece back out? Right now the truck is just sitting we're doing some work on it so won't need to start it for awhile.

You will have to pull off the upper plenum and hope that the piece isn't down in one of the lower intake runners.
