95 4.3 overloading on gas idling.
Hi, this site helped me fix my 4wheel drive issue on my 95 s10 4x4 about a year ago. My problem now is, My truck will Idle great when you first start it, idle for an hour or more perfect. As soon as you speed the engine up and let it come back to an idle, it seems to want to load up on fuel a little bit. Runs great down the road, good gas milage, Ive replaced the map, the air control module, o2 sensors. Wondering if anyone had any ideas on what it could be? I'm thinking of replacing the TPS on it next to see if that fixes it.. Thanks and again, you guys helped fix my 4wheel drive issue, so I figured I'd try again..
Thanks
Jamie
Also, I have replaced the Plugs, and wires, dist. rotor button, coil. I've seemed to have narrowed it down to something in the fuel. Any ideas please let me know. Replacing the Throttle body and injectors this weekend. Guess I'll eventually hit on something.. lol Thanks

Yes it could be the TPS. Do you have an Ohm meter to check it out with? Could also be the fuel pressure regulator. Replacing the spider in the '95 is not alot of fun as those fuel lines coming in at the rear of the intake are difficult. Expect that you will find puddles of fuel in the intake from the spider leaking. Even the new one will leak...it is just a bad design....and not cheap.
