Default 95 blazer brake problem

Hey guys has anybody else had an issue where the brakes are sadly soft? I mean I slammed them to the floor today and the tires didn't lock up at all... For the brakes to even engage the pedal has to go about half way to the floor... anybody have any ideas whats goin on? It's been this way for over a year (I bought the car Sept 2013 and it did it then too)

hows the brake fluid level in the master cylinder? If that's good, try bleeding all four wheels

Is the red "BRAKE" light illuminated on the dash? If so, it could mean one of the hydraulic systems is not operating due to a ruptured line. Check all of the brake lines for leaks, repair as necessary.

Pedal height, (free travel) is determined by rear brake adjustment. Your 95 has rear drum brakes and they could be out of adjustment.

The fluid is full and the brake light isn't on... I've already had a line go bad in this thing... it's pretty noticeable lol I'm gonna try bleeding it some time this week.

Did you bleed them or adjust the rear brakes?
