95 Blazer Help
I have a 95 blazer 4.3 liter 4x4. Sit for several years. Since March 2012 i have put new gas tank, fuel pump sending unit, spider injection, all new except the metal gaslines. New coil, plugs, wires, cap, and rotor button. Been running like new until last night. It missed going up a hill five minutes later missed again. 10 minutes later it dies and will not start. Anyone have any suggestions on what it could be. I dont have a code reader. Is there any sensor that would cause it to just die and not restart. There is spark on plugs, and fuel coming out of the fuel pressure valve.

UH...I think I know why no one has responded...A lot more info is needed and if the SES light was on when it ran last, you will need to scan it or search for the more obvious mechanical issues.Good luck!

check fuel pressure. should be 55-60 i know everything is new but did you replace the nut kit "the lines running to the spider inside the plenum" and when you replaced the tank did you replace the rubber hose on the pump leading to the sending unit? these rubber hoses usually get pinholes in them.

Hi there Proform, here's one you can do right now. Over on the pass side fender wall not far from your brakes you will see a red pigtail wire just kind ah hangin out. That's the fuel pump jumper. Get 12v's to it, theres a main wire block right over there or run a jumper from the batt. Now with that connected the fuel pump will run, feel back from the fuel filter along what will be a very rusted fuel line and see if you have any weeping gas.

put the tester on came up with P0113 Intake air temperature sensor high voltage. It just measures the temp coming into the intake. Would that have anything to do with not starting. It turns over, has fire on plug, and gas.

just unplug the air temp sensor. its under the black rubber hose connecting the plastic tube going to the air box. it should default it. and run. or get a new one there pretty cheap.
it really shouldnt make it not start but who knows.

IAT sensor will not cause a no-start condition. If you have spark & fuel, the only thing left is lack of compression. If compression is OK, back to the drawing board, it's either fuel or spark.
1995 was a transition year for 4.3L engine controls: If you're getting P0113, it means you could have CMFI OBD1.5 or CSFI OBDII. Although extremely rare, there are a few CSFI's in 1995 vehicles. The 2 systems are totally different when it comes to diagnostics. What does your engine look like:
CMFI:
Or CSFI:
