I have read many posts here about the obd 1.5 system and trying to get the codes read by a scanner and I am stuck. My 95 Blazer has the computer under the hood on the left side and the 16 pin port under the dash but obviously not OBD II. I have 2 hand held code readers, an Innova 3100 which cannot connect and a Actron 9185 which will not connect (but was told it would). I even purchased the ALDL cable (9127) which fits nothing because it is for a square 12 pin plug and does not fit the plug under my dash so.......I am in desperate need of some assistance here, can anybody assist me so that i can pull codes, i really appreciate anybody`s input and time, thanks.

I'm not familiar with either of the devices you mention but you must have an obd reader that is specific for GM.
