So a few months ago my Service Engine Soon (SES) came on. I took it to my trustworthy mechanic who read it, and told me my catalytic converter was bad. So i had it replaced. A month later my light comes on for a few days then goes off, only to come back on. I take it back to him and he tells me that it could have been a bad dysfunctional catalytic converter and he replaces it again for no charge and returns the other one on warranty. Now it is a month later and the same thing is happening. So before i take it back in i was wondering if anyone could please give me some insight into what the problem could possibly be.

 

Take it to somebody else that can read the code and tell us what the code number is. Remember, the '95s can be a trick to read since they can be either OBDI or OBD1.5 (OBDII connector, but OBDI system).

 

What codes were popping up?

 

cant get the codes im not car savvy at all im trying to get into it and nobody i know has code readers
