Default '95 Blazer Shakes while braking

Alright, got a 1995 blazer that does some mean shakin when you brake goin over 35. Once you hit the brakes it keeps it up until you completely stop. Checked out the brakes and they seem to be fine. Is there anything i should check that would be causing this to happen?

I'll put money on warped rotors... take your rotors off and have them machined, or get some new rotors.

I just had a problem with my 95 blazer's brakes. When I went out the driveway they would lock up and let go a few seconds later and be fine. Found out that the brake drum was out of round. Maybe you have a similar problem.

warped rotors or drums or could be tie rods.
what kind of rotors do you have? are they stock or slotted? if they are slotted sometimes you get a little shake....this would also happen if they are scored.

Warped rotors are a common issue with these trucks if you get cheap replacements. Even more so if you get the cheap rotors and use a good set of pads with them. Replace the rotors and the pads as the pads will be unevenly worn and won't mate with the new rotors properly.

Do not wait long to get it fixed as that shake could cause a pad to break and cause you even more problems. Let us know if this does not fix the problem.
