'95 Blazer stops while driving
Hey guys...I'm new to the forums, and I can't figure this problem out for the life of me.
I've got a '95 Blazer that has just had the engine, EGR valve, distributor, and fuel injectors replaced. Since I've gotten the truck back (four days ago) my truck has stalled on the interstate twice. Both times I was in stop and go interstate traffic (good old Houston traffic...) and I was just letting off of the brakes when the truck would give.
When this occurs, I do not feel any shaking or any strange idling..if anything, it's idling TOO quietly. It's as if someone has just turned the key, and all of my dash lights stay on, my radio stays on, but my brakes become hard to push.
This has happened twice now in four days. Both times I have been able to crank the truck right back up and be on my way. Any ideas what could be causing the trouble here, guys? I'm assuming if it was a fuel pump, I wouldn't be able to get it started again, so I'm thinking maybe a clogged fuel filter.
My battery gauge reads around 12 volts when radio is on, which is a bit low, I know. My oil gauge is all over the place, but it has been for some time..I've never seen it hit "0" or go into the red range. My temperature is a tad high, but nowhere near overheating.
Thanks for any insight to this issue. I'm really hoping this truck can just get me to February so I can get my income tax and find something else.

You had the engine replaced? Is there a warranty?
Like you I doubt that it is fuel pump, but could be the relay drops out for some reason. Might just be a loose electrical connector for the fuel injector, coil, ignition module, etc.
Suggest just checking all electrical connectors in the engine bay.
