Default 95 Jimmy Swap flexplate hitting case

I've swapped the motor out of my 95 4x4 Jimmy to the 95 2wd Jimmy everything went smoothly except for one of the fuel lines, but I finally got that in straight. Once I got the distributor back in and fired it up I heard a grinding down at the torque converter. I was not so concerned with this until I got the timing set correctly. After timing was set I was able to go under and inspect the noise. It looks like the flexplate is making contact with the bell housing @ the 10 & 2 bolt eyes. The noise is not constant. It goes quiet after idling for a while. The noise is there under acceleration but it does not sound serious. I had no noise in the old bell housing but I just went and looked at the old transmission and the inside is marked up as this one is getting. Cracked plate? Two piece housing is great.
