well, problems is an understatement.
before i got it in legal running order, uncle and brother swapped out plug wires, got the dist. fixed, intake gaskets and misc items.
engine.
runs like it has a bad hip or something. sometimes it goes great, hot or cold. but then at times, it runs like its missing and jerking and wanting more power, but not getting it. 6 new plugs and erased codes later, it ran great to work and back. but after starting it back up the next day. SES light and crappy running again.
causes? EGR, Spider injectors?
Tranny.
might be the same problem with the engine, but at about 20-30 percent pedal power, it accelerates rough and seems like it hangs in first for a second or twooooooo then shifts into second.
rear axle.
in reverse, there is a really loud and strong vibration from the rear diff. and the axle housing. (oh boyyyyy) other than in reverse, it runs great in drive.
specs. 4.3 vortec, auto, press button 4wd.
