How do I disable the factory installed securing alarm. It goes off at times when it is not supposed to to. It is very anoying and inconvenient. Iwant to completely disable the alarm system. I want to be sure that it is cut off at its power source so that my battery is not drained by the alarm system when it goes off at the unexpected times.

 

My Bravada had a GM Accessories alarm installed that was problematic when I bought it. I followed the wires from the siren under the hood until I found where the unit was mounted. I disconnected all the wires fromit and onlyhad to splice the ignition wire back together.
