First off, I'm new here so I apologize if this has been discussed before.

Before the no start it had a rough start then all of a sudden it wouldn't start at all unless I put a little gas into TBI then it runs til that burns out.

We have changed the fuel pump, fuel filter and spider injector and now I'm stuck and don't know where to go next.

What do you guys recommend I do next to try to get this problem resolved?

 

Btw I should mention that the spider injector came from the junkyard so could it be possible that I just got a bad injector?

 

top sticky this page, fuel pressure check do all steps - and if you have a spider you do not have a TBI it's just a air plenum

 

Ok..thanks for the info, I am getting pressure at the rail, not sure of the exact reading but as soon as I have a reading I will update.

 

If you do not have a test gauge most part stores have a loan out program just have too put down a deposit. do all the checks in sticky not just one at the test port these engines are picky on fuel pressures

Ok, so I connected the gauge and I can hear the pump come on but getting no pressure on the gauge but when I push the shrader valve in there's pressure. The pump is working, the filter is brand new..I'm lost.

 

The valve depressor in the tester is not depressing the shrader valve.

 

Ok, so we changed the spider injector again and it starts once, runs a little rough then doesn't start again..is there something that would cause the spider to keep shorting out or something?
