96 Blazer LT
I was recently gifted a 1996 Chevy Blazer LT from my brother...
When he still had it, one of the first things he did was do a "Cat Delete."... Except it was horrible... They cut the catalytic converter out... from the inside... So I currently have a super jank cat delete. In place of the cat, was a flex pipe welded in.
What size is the pipe on both sides of the Catalytic Converter so I can get a proper cat delete welded in.

Any auto parts store you go to will give you the proper catalytic converter (as long as you don't get a universal one). Just have to give them your year, make, model, engine size and possibly the vin code. You might also need to know if it is Federal or California emission. Tag under the hood will tell you that.

The thing is I like the way it sounds without the Catalytic Converter and my state has nothing against not having one (To my knowledge) So I'd like to not spend $100 plus as I am a highschool student who will barely be able to afford gas and insurance every month...

your state might not, but your federal government cares. https://legalbeagle.com/7194804-cata...rter-laws.html

Did you know that your PCM knows when the cat converter isn't working right because it is constantly monitoring the efficiency. If it finds the converter not working correctly, it turns on the SES light and reverts to/starts running in a failsafe mode (not the best for gas mileage). If your light isn't on right now, its because someone has disabled it.
