i have a 96 blazer that has me stumped, i can go out in the morning and it will start fine and start fine the rest of day, but on days when i start it up and park it after driving mile to work i need i jump to start it, this is after about 8 hours of sitting, but can start it up in morning after sitting 12 or 13 hours, new alternator and battery and they both check out fine, could my computer be acting up because i only drive it a mile and shut if off, it starts fine the rest of day and next morning after the jump when i get off work, and it barley has to have the jumper cable touch the terminals and it starts, please help

 

Sounds like either a bad connection at the battery, a cracked plate in the battery, or an odd current draw.

 

all connections are tight, put battery on charger all cells were bubbling like crazy, remember it only happens when i park it for 8 or so hrs when i shut it off at work, not after sitting all nite or any other time, new battery and alt also had them checked, all were fine, thanks for help
