Default 96 cam

alright i need to replace the lifters in my 96 blazer do any one know by looking at them if there bad or not? and also if i put new lifters in should i put a new cam or can i jsut put lifters in it?

Well I would recomend changing the cam too. They both need to be broken in together. I know it is a little more work but it always turns and bites me in the *** when I do half the job. Oh by the way how do you know you need to replace the lifters?

well i looked in to the knocking and found it was more on top of the motor thant he bottom and my oil pressure is 60psi.. if the oil pressure was down id say crank..
