Default 97 Blazer Speed Sensor

Oh boy --
Long story short, the ABS light is on and I can't get out of 1st gear (auto trans).
The diagnostic computer said I need a speed sensor ... from what I've read, there are different speed sensors.
Is there one just for the ABS, and if so, where is it? Is there one on the passenger & driver side?
More importantly, What does it look like?
Thanks
Kelli

An ABS sensor should not prohibit the transmission from shifting out of 1st gear...

You have a wheel speed sensor in each of the front hubs as well as one in the back of the transmission for the rear axle.

Thanks Kyle.
The 'code' was very vague; now we're looking at the transmission speed sensor as the trouble maker.

Not so much a hijack, but a resurrection from the dead... Could just look up a product photo on RockAuto.com or similar site...

Sorry I was doing a search and this came up. I didn't look to see how old it was.
