so I posted on here a while back about the Bravada suddenly picking up a skip on cylinder 2, giving the p0302 code, so i went ahead and parked it behind my house and proceeded to drive my old honda beater for a while til I got around to messing with it, well before all that it developed a problem over the winter where it would rain real hard and then it wouldn't start...it could run fine in the rain just not start if it sat overnight in it. fast forward to the present now, I went to go crank it so i charged the battery up and turned it over and it didn't catch at first, so i go to start it again and the starter is just free wheeling, like it's not going forward to engage the flywheel to start the engine....never had any problem out of it whatsoever before, i also noticed when i went to crank it once the gauges went crazy for a second and even my aftermarket car stereo started flashing lights...any help would be appreciated thanks!
Jason
edit: my main concern now is whether to just go ahead and replace the starter and then go from there with the misfire, i know it is getting spark, it just suddenly started misfiring going down the interstate, the distributor cap is fine I took it loose and inspected it.

You may want to pull the distributor and have a look at the drains. Some distributors had screens in the base of the distributor that would get clogged up causing misfires when it was damp outside.
Also, take a spray bottle of water and mist down the engine while its running at night. See if you have any spark escaping the wires.
