Default 97 o2 sensors

Which o2 sensor is the bank 1, sensor 2? I have one on each side next to exhaust manifolds, one before the cat and one after the cat.

The one before the cat. Common one to throw a code.
I always put the new O2 sensor on the exhaust manifold and move the one from the exhaust to the one before the cat. The ones on the exhaust manifold are the most important, they control fuel trims. O2 sensors get old and slower over time. Just my way of doing things, do what you want.
Use a torch to heat to get them out, there is no other easier way.
