Default 98 Blazer Brake Booster Removal

I 'm wondering how to get the last nut(upper right while looking at dash) off of the stud holding the booster on. I can't seem to get a deep socket on it. Any ideas? Thanks.

I ended up grinding down a deep well socket a bit at a time until I could get it on there. Don't over do it or it won't reach the nut. If I were home I would measure how long I ended up with.

Once you get the nut off there is still plenty of fun! That one stud will not want to come out of the firewall. I ended up taking the ABS module off its bracket on the wheel well but leaving the lines hooked up. This gave me just enough room to wrestle the booster out of the firewall.

When I put the new one in I cut that $%&*%#$#%^& stud down to a proper size. Made getting it in much easier and you don't have to use a deep well socket to install or remove it.

Thank you. I'll give it a shot.
