98 Blazer LT turned off on me 3 times today

RE: 98 Blazer LT turned off on me 3 times today
I got the Blazer back from my mechanic with a new fuel pump and now the Blazer hasn't turned off on me while driving it anymore but it has hesitated to start up about once a day for the last three days after driving it and parking for a short while. Not to mention I cleaned out the EGR valve as suggested and also cleaned out the IAC as per another post which was pretty dirty and cleaned my throttle body as best I could without taking it off with some TB cleaner spray stuff and I made sure my MAF sensor was clean as well which it was.
But today after driving to my parents house and then comming back out to leaveafter about30 minutes of the Blazer being parkedI went to turn it on and it came on and turned off within about 3seconds or so and I had a hard time turning it back on which I did by pumping the gas pedal while turning the ignition on.
I did take the Blazer back to my mechanic on Saturday before todays problem at my parents and he veryfied good fuel pressure from the new fuel pump and basically told me they could do nothing since the Blazer was turning on just fine when it was at the mechanic's. The mechanic said they can't do anything without seeing the problem so in the mean time this truck is driving me nuts after having put so much into already in less then 2 months that I've owned it. The mechanic also speculated it could possibly be an injector problem which I certainly didn't need to hear.
Please, someone help me. Thanks.
