ok so i bought a 98 2 door blazer pretty rough..
1st problem have to spray starting fluid in it to start once started it runs pretty good..
2nd probem cel light on but i plug my odb machine to it and no connection... i checked the cig lighter fuse it was blown i put in a new one and it didnt blow but still no connection..
this was bought as a project truck and got it cheap..
where would u start? im going to check the fuel pressure tommorrow install a new filter.. it looks like a new fuel pump in the truck
i was told when cold it woud start but once warm u would have to let it kool down or prime it with starting fluid to start it

You got your hands full-but if it was cheap enough($500) you''ll be alright and it sounds like your on the right track with fuel pressure issues! Good luck! Let us Know!

Yep sounds like the valve in the pump is letting the fuel leak back in the tank. try this
Go outside and turn the key on and off(dont start it,just cycle the key). it'll purge the fuel line. then try starting it. if it starts without starter fluid then chances are your pumps bad. have the pressure checked and get back to us.

drove the truck around a bit the other day and it hasnet had the problem since..
all i did was replace 2 fuses that were blown and put a new air intake on the truck one one didnt clip on correct...
now just gotta deal with the p1860 code gonna install a new 99+ valve body from the junkyard and fix that problem and then all fixed
