No that is not the distributor. Here's the link GM Chevy Vortec V6 V 6 4 3L 4 3 Distributor 6671 BK | eBay Have put one all 4 s series vehicles i own. Very nice unit. If link dosent work just type in gm vortec v6 4.3 distributor 6671-bk. Alot cheaper than stock or parts store. Trust me best $52 i spent on a part in awhile. Goodluck

Thanks for the link. I dunno why I could not find that before.

Is it a true "turn-key" item? Just install it no extra parts needed? I remember my '89 4.3 distributor had an ignition module inside, made them pricey.

How is the quality of the cap & rotor, compared to an AC-Delco ?

Yes, a turn key item. Cap is all brass terminals, which is better against corrosion.
