98 jimmy runs good for about 20 mins then dies when i give it gas
hello i have a 98 jimmy that runs great for about 15 to 20 mins then it will just die at a stop it will usually start right up after but as soon as i give it gas it dies it will crank back up about three times and do the same thing then no start if i let it cool down it will start and run great again i just did the tune up plugs wires cap and rotor and its still doing it so any help is appreciated im going to go pull a coil and icm from the junkyard tomorrow hopefully this will fix the problem

Could be the ignition control module, they have been known to fail when hot. Really need to figure out if it's losing spark or fuel. Have you checked fuel pressure? This link will walk you through it: https://blazerforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=45941

Sounds like the module to me as well, over miles these don't "heat-sink" well either...

i changed out the coil and module with a junk yard one and i drove it around the neighborhood a couple times then let it run for about an hour without cutting off so hopefully this will fix my problem i have to change out my brake booster first and then im going to take it out and see what happens
