Question '98 ZR2, extra dangling plug in front of a/c condenser?

So I took the front grill off of my Blazer, and I found a two-plug wire not plugged into anything. It comes off of the plastic/coil-wrapped wire harness that runs below and in front of the a/c condenser.

I have another wire too, but that plugs into what looks like an air temperature sensor, which is clipped onto the metal bar that is connected to the hood release.

What is that two-plug wire for? I can't find any other connectors for it.

Can you post a picture of the plug? That may help.

I am almost certain that is for you air temperature sensor. That plastic piece above it with a hole in it is where that sensor clips in and then the wire plugs into it. I believe that is for the outside temperature. You could probably grab one from the junkyard for a couple dollars.
