You can unplug the electrical connector for the front axle actuator solenoid, that will make it temporarily more "tolerable" to drive not having the front axle locked in. I did that while waiting for the encoder motor I'd ordered to come in. BUT Get the codes again before doing that, it'll add to the code list and add confusion trying to diagnose it.
