hey guys new on here just wondering if anyone on here has had this prob and can help

Depends which one. There are several evap codes.

I had a small leak code that went a away with a junkyard evap canister+bracket. My fuel fill line is also rusted through where it touches the frame, but the gorilla tape I put on there seems to hold vacuum for the evap system.

 

Mine went away with a new gas cap.

I can't remember which code was, but I noticed that it usually happened after I put gas. When the SES light was on, I removed and put the cap on as tight as I could and the light turned off after a couple.

With this in mind I bought a gas cap on autozone and never got the code or SES light again.

My P0440 went away with a new fuel filter
it almost drove me crazy.
fuel cap didn't fix it
hsc the evap smoked
found nothing
just the fuel filter
