'99 Jimmy Coolant Leak
Hey Guys,
I am new to the forum and have an issue on my '99 GMC Jimmy. I did a search but was unable to find my specific problem. I just started losing Coolant and it is disappearing rather quickly. My engine started to overheat so I limped it to a gas station and got some coolant. The coolant container was empty and I filled it back up twice. I checked and the radiator is now full, the oil looks good and I'm getting heat in the vehicle. It appears that coolant is coming out of a hose on the backside of the oil pan. There are 2 rubber hoses hanging on other side of the oil pan, just in front of the trans. I've never really taken note of what should be there so I'm not sure if something came off or if its coming from inside the trans or if its really not coming from the hose and running down the side of it. Any help would be appreciated.

my advice would be to check the intake manifold. it could be leaking from it and running down the back side of the motor. mine sprung a leak from it on the front side, and from what i understand its a common problem.
