Default ABS kicks in right after new caliper...

So i just had the rear drivers side caliper replaced along with new pads in the rear. I was driving home after washing my blazer and the abs kicked in, and scared the poop out of me because i couldnt stop. So i pulled the fuse and am going to bring it back to the shop that did the work.
I was just seeing if anyone has any suggestions as to what this could be.

Ive replaced both the wheel bearings in the front not to long ago so the speed sensors should be ok. When it first happend i was going about 50 KMH so like 30 MPH.

its a 98 blazer 4x4
any suggestions as to what this could be would be greatly appreciated.

(the shop obviously bleed the system when they did the work and im thinking this may have something to do with it)

Cheers!

From what I know the rear pick up or sensor for the abs is the actual speed sensor on the transfer case. Changing the rear calipers or bleeding should have no effect on abs. The abs controller saw a difference between the sensors at front wheels and the rear driveshaft speed sensor and activated abs. One of the sensors gave an incorrect reading or the abs module is malfunctioning. I've had replacement wheel bearings also and the sensors started acting up a week after the one year warranty was up. The sensors in front backing away from the pick ups in the bearing due to rust between the sensor and bearing is also common. Changes tolerance. Check if codes were stored.

I had issues with my abs. It seemed to kick on everytime I was braking (no sliding, on dry pavement). I know that mine (1999 jimmy) has an abs recall. I would check into that. I pulled out the fuse for mine. I hate abs to begin with, I like to have my own control pumping the brakes if need be.
