ABS light comes on when I start driving
Hi,
Had a continuous ABS warning light on, previous owner told me it was the front right sensor, which I have just replaced... now when I start the car, the ABS light comes on briefly, then goes out as I would expect (seems to pass the self-test).
When I start driving however, it comes on after about 20ft or so and stays on, until the next time I start the car.
Has anyone had a similar problem?
I know I really need to get the ABS codes but don't have access to an ABS scanner - does anyone know which pins on the OBD2 port to jumper to get the ABS light to blink the fault codes? I can't find that info anywhere!
Many thanks!

Will look at it again one night soon, thanks for the help... I wondered if the sensor was sitting up very slightly when I fitted it (only talking about 1mm!).
My plan of attack is to remove the sensor again, and rotate the hub, looking through the sensor hole to see if the teeth on the hub are all in good condition and free from dirt. I will then re-seat the sensor, maybe giving it a light tap or two with the handle of a screwdriver to ensure it is sitting completely flush with the hub.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that it fixes it, otherwise I think it'll be a trip to the local garage and £50 diagnostics

Check the large fuse in the distribution box under the hood, I think it is a 60. I have mine out right now because of the vss in the right wheel being bad. Have not had the time to fix it yet. By pulling this fuse, the ABS is disabled. My light does the exact same thing as you describe.
