Hi everyone, i seen this post on this forum from awhile ago but he didnt come back and tell us what happened so im wondering what this could be? I have the exact same problem as below and I have just had both wheel bearings done and ball joints. This noise just came on out of no where and cant explain what may have went wrong. So some help would be very appreciated. Thanks

My ABS light stays on all of a sudden and the part next to the master cylinder (silver with brake lines on drivers side corner) is making a grinding noise even after turning off the engine. I had to remove the ABS fuse from under the hood to get the noise to stop. What is this part and what do I need to do? Brakes work fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It sounds like your EBCM may have failed. The ABS pump should not be on after the key is turned off. Check out ModuleMaster.com and see if you have a rebuildable EBCM.
