Default ABS sensor noise after brake job

I think that the ABS sensor may have been messed up on the drivers side front brakes. After I start it up after sitting and start to move it makes some noise that sounds like the ABS kicks in for about 1-2seconds and then doesnt do it again until I let it sit and drive again later.

The ABS sensor wire going to the rotor side was out of the supports when I went to get an alignment. Or do you think that when I replaced the lower ball joint I may have messed up the wire and or sensor?

Anything is possible. Inspect the wiring and test per Brakes - Low Speed (below 5 MPH) ABS Activation.

My brakes work great, its just when I first get in and start to move and I hear some noise when I first apply brake while moving for about 2 secs. It sounds like the ABS sensor is reading something off but doesnt do it after that. The wiring looks good but not sure how to check and or how much to replace it.

Did you read the link I provided above? It runs through the methods for testing the WSS (wheel speed sensor) with a DMM (digital multimeter).

This procedure can be done with just a jack and a DMM:
  1. Jack up the suspected wheel.
  2. Disconnect the WSS from the wiring harness.
  3. Connect the DMM to the terminals in the connector (doesn't matter which DMM lead goes to which wire).
  4. Set the DMM to mV-AC scale.
  5. Spin the tire by hand.
DMM needs to display >350mV-AC.
