I've got a 2000 Blazer. Every now and then the AC cuts out and goes into vent mode. It usually comes back within a couple of minutes but there have been times that it takes quite a bit longer. The climate switch has been changed as has the actuator under the dash. The vacuum pulls were worked on a couple of weeks ago. Any ideas?

 

Is this manual HVAC, or Automatic Climate Control?


"AC cuts out and goes into vent mode" It blows warm air? Or doesn't blow at all?


What is the ambient temperature, and what type of driving are you doing when it acts up? Uphill, downhill, at idle, or maintaining a steady speed?
