1996 Blazer trying to reset computer after disconnecting battery. Have driven over 100 miles and still have 3 items that will not clear. Need to get one more cleared to pass NYS inspection!!

You have to complete AT LEAST 3-4 driving cycles in order for your DTC's to clear from your computer. Try 20 miles short trips, letting it cool off, then repeating. If they are not clearing, it is probably something serious.
If you don't have a reader, and can clear them, go to a local Auto Zone or some other place, and if they have a code reader, they will most likely clear them for you at no charge.
Plus, how long did you have the battery d/c'ed for? If you do that, give it some time to clear, like 5 minutes to be on the safe side.
Good Luck!

The DTCs are possibly immediately resetting. Rather than just clearing them and ignoring what they are trying to tell you, why not get them read and let us know what they are so we can try to help?
