Default Air bag question.

Newbie here. maybe this is where to ask this question?

Wondering about disarming the airbags, mostly the passenger side only, so the kid can ride up front if needed. Anyone know if I can just unplug the passenger side at the plug behind the glovebox, and not mess with the drivers side?

Or maybe does anyone know how hard it would be to wire in the on/off switch they have in the s10 pickup? That would be ideal if it is doable.

Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Seems this wouldn't be too difficult to someone that has been there before...

You could unplug it, but you should disable the system before disconnecting it & reconnecting it. Not exactly ideal and it will set a light whenever it is disconnected.
