Default air in brakes, or bad booster?

Hi guys/gals

Me and my father are working on his 2005 GMC Jimmy base model. The abs light is on, and does not function. I posted in the past regarding seized bleeder valves that we successfully removed and changed. I informed him about the gravity bleeding method, but I was too late he followed this:
. We then tried the gravity bleeding process 15mins each wheel and no air.

After a week of driving, I've notice the pedal to feel squish/soft and can hear a whoosh(the whoosh sound was always there)

Upon searching brake booster problems, with the Jimmy OFF, the brake pedal gets harder and harder to press, but the pedal can still travel about 1/4". With the Jimmy idling, the pedal is soft and squishy. It does't hit the floor but is very close. Also no problems with the engine when I press the brake pedal.

The MC was full to the top, which I used a turkey baster to remove fluid. Now its on the max line and its has not changed. My brake light on the dash comes on for a split second when I hit bumps or turn sharp, but never when I press on the brake.

If that youtube vid screwed us over, Im assuming air has made its way to the ABS? Can someone recommend a tool I can purchase to purge the air?

Sounds like you still have air in the system. I have heard (but I have no first-hand experience) that you can bleed the ABS module by activating the system normally (try to lock up the brakes on a slippery surface like ice or gravel). Otherwise, you'll need a fairly advanced scan tool.
