Air Condition Blowing Warm Air
I have a 1999 blazer, the air condition was recharged and the mechanic said he sealant in the compressor. The air condition was working when i picked the car up. Didn't drive it for a week and when i got in it turned the a/c on. The a/c blew nothing but warm air and never cooled off. What could the problem be.

Most likely the "mechanic" didn't seal the leak with that magic goop he dumped into your A/C system and all the work you paid for was for nothing.

Yeah, I've been dealing with this one myself. My AC quit on me in January (I was down in South Texas near Mexico) and I got the leaking valve and a recharge cheap.
About three weeks ago, I get in, warm air. AC light was staying on, which seems to mean that it's trying. If the pressure is too low, then you can watch the compressor cycle on and off. I think if it's completely empty, as I was in Mexico, then even the light won't stay on, and the compressor won't even try.
Next place I took it hit it with a blacklight, and could see there was dye in a number of places, definite compressor leak, but also the large valve on the pipe is leaking. Not having the $800 for a full new system, I took a chance on a can of coolant with the sealer and oil mixed in. The can got me up to the bottom of the recommended pressure, and I could watch the compressor go from cycling, to running steady. I don't get super cold air, but it's not bad. If I got a refill can and went full pressure, I'm sure it would be better.
No idea how long it will last, as I'm sure the next step is the whole system, but I'll keep going this route. Hopefully I can nurse it till summer is over.
