Air Plenum Torque Numbers???

Default Air Plenum Torque Numbers???

Looking for the torque numbers for the intake air plenum bolts.

For the upper intake manifold, my service manual has the bolts and studs at 44 lb-in (first pass) and 88 lb-in (second pass). The throttle body studs are 80 lb-in.

Just be sure to correctly read:

lbs/in

not confusing with footpounds.

As Christine points out nice tools for all kind of plastic or small bolt torqueing are 3/8".

Have a look at the bicycle tools. I use a BBB bike torque-wrench.

Oh I have a selection of torque wrenches, one of them being a small 3/8" one, calibrated in lb in.

I just could not find at first the torque numbers for the air plenum....because it is called the upper intake manifold and not air plenum.
