Default Airbag

Just wondering if anyone knows how to get the passenger side airbag out, whats holding it in, and where the bolts that hold it in are located. thanks.

[ol]Disable the SIR System. Refer to Disabling the SIR System .
Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
Remove the I/P storage compartment door. Refer to Door Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Compartment .
Remove the fasteners(4,5) that retain inflatable restraint module to the instrument panel.

Think twice about this...you don't want to have an accident and get sued by a passenger for defeating factory safety equipment.

Or have the state sue you on behalf of the passenger!!! It happens!

If the passanger dies the state can sue you on account of them. That is how it goes....therefore, if you know they wont sue you (still you never really know) make sure they live atleast.

There is actually a case like this in Washington DC right now. Some cops killed a 75 year old man or something like that and the city/state is suing the police department because of it.
