Folks-

The airbag light is illuminated on my '96 Blazer. I bought the truck new, and am trying to get it ready for my 16 yr old son to drive. Unfortunately, VA vehicle inspection laws won't permit the vehicle to pass w/the airbag light illuminated.

SO - with me knowing little to nothing about how this system works - can anyone provide me w/a diagnostic guide to figure out which component(s) is bad? If possible, I'd REALLY like to avoid throwing parts at it.
