Hi there !!
I have problemswith my 1995 Blazer, the ABS light is on and the brakes are not working properly, in normal conditions looks to work OK, but if I need to do a suddenly stop the brake pedal gets very hard to depress as if no vacuum was present, but only happens when a hard stop is necessary, the booster was replaced a year ago and the condition persist. So imagine in free way conditions when unexpectedly is necessary to stop !!!what could be the problem. Thanks in advance

Did you check sensors?
When the ABS lightis on, pretty much is that sensor are not receiving the right info, if so then ABS won't work well. This happen to me once (ABS light on) and it was a sensor that came out a little of its place, I just put it back in and problem gone.
