Does it leak out of another port? If so, which one?

it leaks out of number 3, not sure of color since dash is back together. but if your looking at a back view of the mode switch, its at the 9 oclock position on the inside of the two

In the vacuum connector at the mode switch, connect the vacuum pump to the red vacuum line, apply vacuum and see if it holds.

In the connector, with the mode switch unplugged.

Red tested fine, if anything it dropped less than a quarter but i could be going senile at this rate haha....

This morning i had time to test it again....both on ac and then heat for every mode....max ac ac and bi level worked perfectly, only a small amount came from defrost vent then when i started driving it didnt come out of defroster...the only thing that didnt work was floor it also came out of defroster but i can live with that i never use foot only....when off is selected....it still comes out of defroster vent

Testing was with old unit too

OK, that's good. No leaks in the lines or actuators. As you're applying vacuum to each line, make sure each actuator operates its linkage, and the door actually moves.

Here's what I got wheni based on color

Red-vents ( lightly defrost and floor)
Orange- high vents (assuming max ac)
Brown- defrost/floor (light vent)
Yellow- floor (light defrost)
Blue- vents (light defrost and floor)
