Another silly question from the old man
Can some enlighten this old man on how to remove the Vanity mirrors on the visors?? I ordered a new set But can't figure out the way to remove the old ones without busting them up. If I can learn to remove the old ones it should make it easy to install the new ones without breaking them. I'm working on a 1998 Blazer LT 4x4.
THANKS.
THANKS.

Oh, without busting them? Never mind.
I think I removed the whole visor (3 screws), brought it inside, and eventually just pried at it until the front popped off. But now the mirror slides around in the frame so I assume I did something wrong.

Use a small screwdriver and pry off the light lens.
You'll see two plastic tabs, top and bottom, on each side under where the lens were.
Pry these tabs and the mirror frame & glass will come off.
Use a bit of vasoline on the new hinges to help keep them from breaking.

Glad to help.
When I replaced mine the bulbs were still good so I just left them as they were.
