hi. this maybe a silly question. actually its 2 questions. 00 blazer

1. can i grease the water pump bearing?

2. can the water pump be going if it squeaks only when its hot?

Default RE: maybe a silly question
#1 - No
#2 - Possibly, however the seal will typically start to leak as a pump fails causing coolant to leak out of the weep hole on the top of the pump.
