Had that happen on a '70 Dodge Powerwagon once when I was out in the middle of nowhere and it was 20 below zero out. Clouds of antifreeze steam came out and got all over the inside of the windows. After wiping off what I could with my gloves, I spent a very chilly hour driving back home with the side windows wide open becuase even with the heater controls off, some steam was still coming out becuase the shut off valve is only on one of the hoses so it would come back through the return hose becuase of the pressure in the cooling system.

ya heater core.. i smell antifreeze under the hood of my blazer but dont c any leaks any one help me with this

sounds like heatercore, but if you want to be certain, feel the carpet underneath the dash for wetness, also look for vapor on the windshield from the defrost
